He has been converted. I got an excited call from him yesterday saying he took a picture of a really cool car while he was out and about. Didn't know what it was but he said it reminded him of a Pontiac G8. Guess what I got a picture of later that day?
Somehow, some way, someone in Detroit has either a real MY11 Holden SSV or has done a damn good job faking one. In either case, it was a straight piped, roaring V8, and supposedly Manuel Aussie brute in the motor city.

Looks like left-hand drive, so most likely just a set of badges and a body kit?

LHD, so... rebadged G8 is my guess.

That's what I thought, but he said the whole front end was definitely not a G8 front end. This coming from a man who went out of his way to drive past the Pontiac dealership for years just to look at the G8's. But who knows?

As everyone has said, it's LHD, so it's a conversion. A pretty damn good conversion, but a conversion none the less.

That was my original thought, who knows.

I would love to do this.

If it's LHD, it can't be a Holden, right? Body panels, aero bits, etc can all be swapped out. If you're fanatic enough, you'll have panels and parts shipped from Australia.

I couldn't tell if it was LHD or not, but you are right.
